Because of its huge success, Max Reger recommended to his publisher an instrumentation which he actually realized later: This gem for piano was turned into an atmospheric piece of pastoral music for voice and chamber orchestra.

Pure Joy for Community Orchestra!
This 'Set of Parts' for Max Reger's Maria Wiegenlied is simply beautiful to play. As an adult learner in a community orchestra, the 'intermediate' difficulty is a perfect balance—challenging enough to feel accomplished, but totally achievable.
