LOOK is a sermon song based on a sermon of Dr. Paul de Jong of the same title delivered at First Presbyterian Church, Fort Myers Florida on July 9, 2023. The text was from Numbers 21: 1-9. The 5 verses of this hymn style quartet all begin with "Look." When the children of Israel finally repented for their complaining, God instructed Moses to create a brass snake and set it on a pole, and for those who would look at this creation, even if they had venemous snake bites, they would not die. Likewise, for Christians, if they look to the cross, a symbol of execution, as henious as an electric chair or noose, we will have eternal life.
