This famous air was originally collected by Jane Ross in the County Londonderry in Ireland, then published by George Petrie in 1855. For this solo guitar arrangement, I took a raw version from O’Neill’s Music of Ireland (1903), reharmonized the melody, although kept simple harmonies to focus on counterpoint and full exploitation of resonance. Arrangement written on 29th June 2020 in Yvetot.
