This facsimile of an original by Francois Couperin is part of our French classical music collection. Le Parnasse or l'Apotheose of Corelli: Paris, 1724. Concert instrumental sous le titre d'apotheose compose a la memoire immortelle de l'incomparable Monsieur de Lully: Paris, 1725. Works in trio sonata form for two dessus parts and basso continuo. The first piece of the apotheose de Lully has a basse d'archet part which is separate from the continuo. Preface by Jean Saint-Arroman and Philippe Lescat: the characters of the two apotheoses. Collection supervised by the musicologist Jean Saint-Arroman, professor at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris and at the CEFEDEM Ile de France (Training Centre for Music Teachers). He is the author of the majority of our prefaces and has also been involved in library searches. Facsimile of a copy in the Gemeente Museum Library of The Hague (Netherlands).
