Derek Hasted writes "This lovely piece has rich harmonies, a slow bubbling rhythm and some wonderful chord sequences. At the same time, it's not difficult to play and not difficult for a group to keep tightly in step. This piece would go down well at school concerts, or in a more formal recital where the texture and mood will contrast nicely with other styles of piece. It was on the playlist of Hampshire Guitar Orchestra and it was always a firm audience favorite!
Each part is two sheets of paper, so there are no page turns, and a full score is also provided for the conductor or leader.
This is one of many arrangements that were played by the Hampshire Guitar Orchestra, and which I have now re-arranged to suit a conventional guitar quintet or large ensemble.
