Lark in the Morning is a traditional Irish and English folk song. The "lark" in the title is most likely the Eurasian Skylark, a bird often seen in open farmland. In summer, the lark propels itself higher and higher as it sings. This spirited level 3 arrangement illustrates this as it passes the melody from right hand to left hand and changes key before finishing with a flourish. Practice steps are included on the last page of the arrangement.
