This string quartet arrangement of the famous 1947 song 'La Vie en Rose' composed by Louguy and subtitled 'Life in Rose Hues' or 'Life through Rose Coloured Glasses' should be performed at a moderate tempo. It contains octave double stops in the 1st violin part which should be played boldly. As well, 3rd and 4th harmonies in the 1st violin part should be performed with clarity. The cello 16th notes in the final measure could be performed slowed. The entire piece should be performed very legato. As a wedding processional or recessional piece it could be performed twice.
