Based on the famous version performed by the Orquesta Típica Argentina of the Argentine maestro Juan D´arienzo. This tango was composed at the end of 1915 and premiered in early 1916 in Montevideo (Uruguay) as a musical march for the troupe of the Uruguayan Student Federation, intended to liven up the carnivals of that city and that year. Premiered by the Orquesta de Típica de Tango by Maestro Roberto Firpo, who added a complementary part to his own inspiration. It is a piece that has been in the Universal Public Domain for more than 34 years.
