Jubilance is a bright and fast paced overture. This piece took many years to complete as the original theme was based off an inside joke with some colleagues in the music department many years ago. The piece sat in partial completion until the spring of 2021. Much like many pieces, this one was finished up with the anticipation of the return to live music following COVID-19. This piece features many subtle technical lines and tricks that will really allow an experienced ensemble to shine.
