Great Old Series
Part 3 represents the first half of grade 1. This book teaches the keys of C F G D A Bb and Eb. The scale and tonic chord inversions are developed in each key. Unlike the red course, this series teaches simple position changed. Because of that, the course does not cause gaps to develop, the way the red course does. Children enjoy the fun featured pieces and the colored pictures. Students who are too old for this series should use the green Melody All the Way series and NOT the problem-filled red one.
