Composed by Frank Kretschmer; Kristina Bach. Arranged by Richard Charlton. This edition: pdf. Christmas, Holiday, Instructional, Pop, Standards. Guitar Tab with Voice. 2 pages. Richard Charlton #1327045. Published by Richard Charlton (A0.1766628).

"Jingle Bell Rock" has been performed by many, but the Bobby Helms' first version from 1957 is arguably the best known. The song's title and some of its lyrics are an extension of the old Christmas standard, "Jingle Bells". It makes brief references to other popular songs of the 1950s, such as "Rock Around the Clock", and mentions going to a "Jingle hop"; otherwise it is a fairly basic swing Christmas melody.

The single line chart has a TAB version & is suitable for upper elementary guitar students - this version has a little bit of 3rd Position but is otherwise straightfoward. Use to teach Swing-time.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
