This chord progression not only a cool tune but also over the years a ‘how to learn to play over changes’ didactal tune. The Etude is a follow up on the 'Constant Stream Exercise' of the Etudes no. 1 and no. 2 with the implementation of chordal melody fragments and polyrhythms.
Here are some lines which cuts through the usual suspect of jazz tutorials.
