At the northernpoint of Anna Maria Island, off the west coast of Florida, is some magnificent scenery. Looking out over the pass between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay, islands dot the vista. The vegetation on the islands display the effects of fast moving tides and winds. It appears that these small islands are a haven for birds, sand creatures, and fish. This picturesque panorama is the story behind Islands Across the Bay.
