In this piano solo for the early advanced pianist, watch the accents on the ands if counting the dotted quarter note as the beat. It may be best to count the eighth note as the beat to get used to the rhythm. Notice the change from C minor to C major. This is called the parallel key since it keeps the same name but changes the key signature, as compared to the relative key where it keeps the same key signature but changes the name (C to A minor).
