What could be more welcome for church keyboardists than a musically illuminating and accessible organ and piano collection highlighting the busy week from Palm Sunday to Easter? Ranging from resounding Palm Sunday "hosannas" to the compelling events of Holy week and culminating with exultant Easter "hallelujahs," these selections feature easier pedal parts for the organist while providing appropriate and worshipful settings for this most important week in the Christian calendar. With such noted composers as John Innes, Gil Martin, and Lani Smith, this collection will become an eagerly anticipated and useful resource year after year. Two copies are required for performance.

After doing an internet search for a different duet for Easter Sunday and hearing The Strife is O're on your website, we ordered Hosannas to Hallelujahs!! . I was a little concerned that the difficulty level might sound too easy, as we usually play fairly difficult duets. However, although it was simple to play, it had a nice sound to it, and was very well received. I don't think it sounded as easy as it actually was. We have not played any other of the duets in this book, but I could recommend it, based on The Strife is O're. It seems so many of the Easter duets are all based on Christ the Lord is Risen Today, and I was pleased to find one that is not. As is the case in most piano/organ duets, the organ part is much more simple than the piano part, and each part would have to be rated on a different difficulty level. I'd rate the piano part as intermediate, and organ as early intermediate.
