A brisk 6/8 in the style of a hornpipe, but not based on an existing tune. Light and fun, it's a good fit for a concert in the park or any light program. Easy for the audience to get into, yet still provides a moderate challenge for the band, so everyone has fun.
With a duration just a touch under 2:30, it can be a "filler" for a program that needs a little more music, but doesn't have room for a full-length piece.
