This is one of the most iconic songs from film in the last 25 years, and students still know and love it! Despite being written for a third year orchestra, this arrangement is shockingly close to the original - other than having a significantly reduced tempo. Some rhythms are slightly simplified, but very little. I wrote the arrangement in 6/8 since that's definitely the correct time signature; however, my students were definitely more successful with me conducting in 3/4 and feeling the quarter note as the primary beat. But, if your group can do it in 6/8 then power to you!
