Nice collection
I direct a Boy Scout troop band comprised of musicians ranging from 6th to 12th grade. We have used the Americana Collection and Discovery Series books in years past, but the boys like the arrangements in this book the best. The melody gets passed around from trumpet to woodwinds to low brass, so everyone gets featured. It is a little above the 6th graders in difficulty, but they pick it up listening to the older boys. Nice book. Simple, straight-ahead, and not so sterile as the Americana Collection.
