Urmas Sisask (b.1960) possesses a vision unique among Estonian composers; his music contains magical primeval power and a sincere sense of beauty. In 1988 Sisask completed this work consisting of 24 religious songs for mixed choir, chamber choir or quartet. All these songs are based on the kumayoshi mode - obtained from theoretical sound values for the rotations of planets.
