Great for students
If you're teaching a student from the Young Violinist's repertoire series, this duet is great, because it's adapted from that version. A Suzuki violin student in book 3 can handle it easily as well. It's good to have it in duet form, since a pianist is not always available for accompaniment. I also bought the Rigaudon for violin duet as well. It's from the same series.
