O God, You Know Us Through and Through / We Lie, O Lord, within Your Care / Song of the Sower / You Call Us to the Feast. Composed by Clark Kimberling. Ordinary Time 2 B. Choral. Sacred. Octavo. 24 pages. GIA Publications #5711. Published by GIA Publications (GI.G-5711).
UPC: 785147571100. English. Text by Herman G. Stuempfle, Jr.
The tune is based on ATHLONE, a traditional Irish melody. Five verses allow for various choral textures, all easily handled by a balanced ensemble. A similar approach is given to the three other settings. The handbell parts are more involved than a bell or two rung here and there, but could be performed by members of most choral ensembles. Eight to ten bells are used for each piece, the aggregate range for the collection is E5 to B6. 8-10 handbells - 4 sets of parts.
