This beautiful octavo, which has become a staple of the Communion literature, has stanzas, each approaching the idea of remembering from a different viewpoint. In the first verse, Christ of the Last Supper asks us to remember Him. In the second verse, Christ of Gethsemane asks the Father to remember Him. Remember Me
The lyrics are very meaningful, taking Christ from the Last Supper to His place in heaven. The melody was easy to learn, but gives each section a part to shine. We're using the piece for our Mandy Thursday service, but will also use it for future Communion.
