De Belgische componist Jaak Govaere (1954) is werkzaam bij de Koninklijke Muziekkapel van de Belgische Luchtmacht en bij diverse bekende dans- en jazzformaties. 'Follow me', in een bewerking van Gh. Slingeneyer, gitarist bij het vroegere BRT-variété-orkest, begint met een soft-jazzy thema, dat plots omslaat. In de verbeelding van de componist rijdt een net geland vliegtuig rustig achter de volgwagen, tot plotseling ritme en dans (van een wervelende samba) de sfeer doen omslaan.

The Belgian composer Jaak Govaere (1954) is a member of the Royal Belgian Air Force Band and of several famous dance and jazz bands. 'Follow me', arranged by Gh. Slingeneyer, guitarist of the former BRT variety orchestra, starts with a soft jazz theme, which is suddenly transformed. The composer has imagined an aeroplane that has just landed and is following the pilot car until rhythm and dance (of a thrilling samba) interrupt the quiet atmosphere.

'Follow me', ici dans un arrangement de Gh. Slingeneyer, guitariste auprès de l'ancien orchestre de variété de la BRT, commence par un thème soft-jazzy qui se transforme brusquement. Le compositeur a imaginé qu'après son atterrissage, un avion se lance aisément derrière la voiture pilote jusqu'au moment où danse et rythme (d'une samba enivrante) brisent l'ambiance paisible.

Der belgische Komponist Jaak Govaere (1954) ist tätig bei der Königlichen Musikkapelle (Koninklijke Muziekkapel) von der belgischen Luftwaffe und bei mehreren bekannten Tanz- und Jazzformationen. 'Follow me' ist eine Bearbeitung von Gh. Slingemeyer, ein Gitarrist des ehemaligen BRT- Varietee - Orchesters. Das Werk fängt mit einem soft-jazzy Thema an, das sich schlagartig ändert. In der Phantasie des Komponisten fährt ein gerade gelandetes Flugzeug ruhig hinter dem Flugzeugschlepper, bis plötzlich der Rhythmus und der Tanz (einer wirbelnden Samba) die Atmosphäre umschlagen lässt.
