Fun for solo Cello
I just finished sightreading the entire book two. It's great to have pieces for solo cello that don't require an accompaniment for them to sound complete. I found all of the pieces to be very playable and easily accessible for intermediate level cellists. The suggested fingering and bowing work very well. There were about 3 pieces that would require extra practice on my part. I especially enjoy playing Irish Air. It's well written for sounding great on the cello and is quite lyrical and flowing. I'm sure it will be a resource that I'll turn to for playing enjoyment.
