Terrific!
I've performed several of his arrangements from volumes 1 and 2, so I was excited to see a new volume 3. Challenging but attainable. Will require some practice for both the flutist and the accompanist. These really are more like equally-voiced duets for flute and piano than a flute solo with accompaniment. But always interesting to play and very much enjoyed by the congregation. Comes with an accompaniment CD for practicing as well as for those not fortunate to have a skilled pianist available. Of all the worship music I have in my library, the arrangements in these three volumes are my favorites.

Flute Solos for Worship Vol. 3
Fantastic - better than Vol 1 and 2. Every song inside is marvelous, fun, upbeat. Some a bit difficult, but you can slow them down if they seem to difficult. Some are jazzy, even a bit of boogie woogie, great gospel. I waited a long time for this volume to be published, and am not disappointed. It's just wonderful - can't wait to get together with my accompanist and play it in church. The only thing that disappointed me is that it doesn't come with a separate flute part. But it does have a truly outstanding CD with both instruments together, and just the piano for practice. I highly recommend this for something that isn't just melody for the flute. It's a challenge worth taking.
