This collection combines traditional writing for classical organ with five popular music styles from the last 125 years. From time to time I've been asked about my arrangements that I used for many years as a concert theatre organist and if those were written out. Now as a composer for classical organ these five pieces bring aspects of Ragtime, Marches, Jazz Waltz, Musical Theatre, and classic Movie Theme to the bench for either playing for enjoyment, lighter recital pieces, or encores.
These very much draw from the turn-of-the-last-century music played by municipal organists or theatre organists in their respective jobs.....all for the enjoyment and entertainment of the public.
