Effective Accompaniment for Vocalists
As a vocal coach, I find this Fiorello! collection very useful. The piano accompaniment effectively supports the vocal line without being overly simplistic. While not a full piano-vocal score, the P/V/G arrangement provides ample harmonic and rhythmic support for singers across a comfortable range. It's a solid choice for auditions or studio work on these classic Jerry Bock pieces.

Excellent Resource for Developing Students

when did I fall in love
Does anybody know if the music sheet of 'When did i fall in love' included in this book is the original one? Or is it simplified? I need it for my audition and it has to be the original one. thanks

Great Show
Did you know this show tied with The Sound of Music for the Tony's Best Musical in 1960? This is a great show that has been largely forgotten! This collection is not the complete score (I wish they would release the complete vocal score), it is just vocal selections - but what a great introduction to a show that doesn't get produced often enough!

Great Intro to a Outstanding Show
Love the music from this show. Fun, creative, and a moving tale to boot! Songs like Little Tin Cup and Politics and Poker are excellent for teaching character and interaction in a group setting.

not the full version of The Very Next Man
I purchased this in order to get the sheet music for the Very Next Man. It's not available as a sheet as far as I can tell. The score is incomplete and the piano part is simplified. Very disappointing...
