This is a very attractive Etude for students in the advanced intermediate level. It is written in the form of a figured Chorale, and it does have musical interest beyond its utilitarian features. It is this writer's belief that piano students do not have enough Etudes for the development of articulation and flexibility in the left hand. This Etude is hopefully a contribution to this pressing need.
