Evocació d'un paisatge llunyà (Evocation of a distant landscape) This piece, from 2002, was originally commissioned to accompany an artistic music video by actor Jordi Moyà, which premiered at ARCO. It features an eclectic instrumental ensemble including sitar, koto, violin, electric guitar, percussion (xylophones, tubular bells, etc.), blown bottles, bamboo flutes, and more, drawing inspiration from Balinese gamelan ensembles. In a single movement, it aims to create a mantra-like atmosphere through repetition. In 2023, I created a version for piano four hands.
