This beautiful old Scots Gaelic song was used in Outlander Series 1 Episode 3 so is ideal for any film-based or Scottish concert programmes. Eriskay Love Lilt's original Gaelic title is 'Gràdh Geal mo Chridh' which means 'Fair Love of My Heart'. It is presented here in a great arrangement for Wind Quintet. The opening flute solo takes us back to this song's original Gaelic heritage, before moving on to the version of the tune we are all more familiar with. The arrangement is through-composed, with each instrument playing its own verse in a different arrangement. It ends with the haunting solo flute.
