He also wrote hymn tunes such as Kirby Bedon, St. Gregory, and New Year Morn, many of which appeared in Victorian hymnals. Bunnett’s music reflects a blend of Romantic expressiveness and Anglican tradition, often characterized by warm harmonies and lyrical phrasing.
