This musical score is a transcription of a 1959 audio recording by The Four Preps performing, "Down By The Station". The song closely follows a familiar nursery rhyme, but uses different words supplied by Belland and Larson of the Four Preps. There's also a surprise ending to some of the verses captured in "Swany River" melody mid way through the piece. The Four Preps sing their song in the key of Eb, but this score is raised two full steps to the key of G. This puts the music in a key which is easier to play by a beginning guitarist because the music uses familar chords which are easy to play.
