Excellent for Engaging Piano Students!
This collection by Jason Lyle Black is fantastic for intermediate piano students. The familiar Disney medleys, featuring songs from Aladdin, Lion King, and more, are incredibly motivating. Solid Medleys for Solo Piano Gigs
These Disney medleys are a practical addition for solo piano gigs. Jason Lyle Black's arrangements are full and recognizable, making them great for background music or requests. While it's piano solo (no separate lead sheet chords), the medleys flow well. Be mindful of page turns, but overall, it's a solid, efficient book for adding popular repertoire to your setlist.

Pure Disney Magic at My Fingertips!
As an adult learner, I absolutely love this Disney Medleys book! Jason Lyle Black captures the spirit of the movies perfectly, from Moana to Mary Poppins. It's so enjoyable to play and actually sounds like the iconic tunes. The arrangements are challenging enough to feel rewarding but totally achievable with regular practice. Great for relaxing at the piano and reliving childhood favorites!

Great Solo Arrangements, Not for Direct Vocal Coaching
As a vocal coach, it's important to note this is a 'Piano Solo' collection, not a direct vocal accompaniment book. However, Jason Lyle Black’s medleys are beautifully arranged, offering rich piano textures. They could inspire accompaniment ideas or serve as wonderful standalone solo pieces for events. The selection of Disney classics is excellent, perfect for a pianist performing without a vocalist.

Disney Medleys for Piano Solo
Fun, fun, fun! especially the Jungle Book Medley. The syncopation can provide some challenge but every piece is great fun to play. It includes vintage as well as newer movies. Multiple generations of pianists will enjoy playing this music.
