These are transposed horn parts for Wagner's Der fliegende Hollander (The Flying Dutchman) Overture (horns 1-4). The original parts are in (F and) G (1-2) and D, A (and F) (3-4), and are somehwat difficult to transpose in places, so performance should be much less stressful with these.
The set also includes edited parts (1-4), taking some of the burden from the first part and distributing the material more in line with the 1-3-2-4 setup. N.B. While either set of parts can be used and will sound exactly the same, original and edited parts should NOT be mixed.
Transposed trumpet (1-2) parts (in B flat and C) are also available.
