Concierto alegre for two guitars and orchestra was written in 1986. The music proceeds in a variety of ‘conversations’, with the orchestration kept sotto voce when the guitars are playing. In developing this piano reduction, made by Anne Duarte, it became obvious that the hand-written manuscript score contained several mistakes, as well as an absence of dynamic and articulation markings. These have been added and were used in the 2022 recording of the work.
Le Concierto alegre pour deux guitares et orchestre a été écrit en 1986. La musique se déroule sous forme de diverses « conversations », l’orchestration étant maintenue sotto voce lorsque les guitares jouent. Lors de l'élaboration de cette réduction pour piano, réalisée par Anne Duarte, il est devenu évident que la partition manuscrite contenait plusieurs erreurs, ainsi qu'une absence d'indications dynamiques et d'articulation. Celles-ci ont été ajoutées et ont été utilisées dans l'enregistrement de l'œuvre en 2022.
