Antonio Rosetti wrote a number of delightful concertos for horn. This one for "2nd Horn" does not imply any lack of technique, just that players of the day were divided into "high" and "low". This work lies in a comfortable range for most performers of the modern instrument while being suitably challenging to be interesting. The orchestra parts are well written and sound really well.
