Die vorliegende Einrichtung basiert auf der Nr. 6 der "Sei sonatine per violino e cembalo" (1718). Die Praxis, Instrumentalwerke fur ein anderes Instrument umzuschreiben, war im Barock allgemein ublich und entsprach dem praktischen Bedarf. Der fanfarenartige Anfang der Sonatine liess ein Blasinstrument geeigneter erscheinen als ein Streichinstrument. Um ein Wechselspiel zwischen Trompete und Orchester zu erreichen, wurde der Continuopart behutsam und der Zeit entsprechend erweitert.
