great duets
The book has a number of great duets. The arrangements are a refreshing change from the normal harmony, but not too modern to be objectionable. My favorite is Away in the Manger, but The First Noel is also interesting, and the Jingle Bells arrangement, with its rendition of Chop Stix, is outstanding.

Christmas Side by Side
I have found this book to be easy enough for an intermediate player to sight read and challenging enough for younger students to work on. The arrangements are lovely and can be played by advanced or young pianists with equal success and pride.
