An arrangement for saxophone quartet (soprano or alto, alto, tenor, baritone) of the chorale prelude "Gott Vater, der du deine Sohn" by German-born composer and organist Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706). Although best known today for his Canon in D, Pachelbel was a prolific composer of sacred and secular music and was influential in the development of the chorale prelude and fugue forms. This piece was originally composed for organ. The set comprises full score and parts, including an alternative part for a second alto saxophone instead of soprano saxophone. Difficulty level : Intermediate/Advanced.
