Arranged for Voice and Pops Orchestra, this version is faithful to Elvis Presley’s 1968 Comeback Special performance. The arrangement features a rich orchestral palette supporting the vocal line, with woodwinds, brass, strings, and harp creating a warm, lyrical texture. The choir is incorporated into the orchestral writing and can be performed optionally. The piece includes a smooth modulation from C to Db, enhancing the climactic ending.
