Can’t Help Falling In Love - Big band Vocal
Based on Elvis Presley’s iconic 1968 Comeback Special performance, this arrangement captures the intimate opening, gradual build, and emotional weight of the original while translating it into a full Big Band setting. The writing favours warmth and space, allowing the vocal to remain the focus, with supportive ensemble textures and subtle dynamic shaping throughout. Ideal as a concert feature or showcase ballad for male or female vocalists.
All saxophone parts are written as woodwind doubles, creating a softer, more orchestral colour while retaining big band balance. String textures and choir are used to enhance the harmonic depth without overpowering the vocal line.
