This is a piece that will inspire advance beginners to really work on their technique. It is a fun an simple melody, but it includes chords, scales (both parallel and contrary), and arpeggios. Playing these in a melodic format instead of a drill format helps students accomplish these techniques because it becomes more fun to play! I do have to put the level as early intermediate due to the use of ledger lines under the bass clef, but an advanced beginner with decent music theory knowledge can find success with this piece. .
