Saturday Night Boogie An upbeat, fun to play Grade 3 piano boogie with swing (jazz) eighths over a walking bass. This boogie needs to be played in a relaxed manner with good rhythm and accents in the syncopated bars.
Rocking The Blues This upbeat Grade 3 blues piece has an eighth note (quaver) LH walking bass pattern, with some staccato articulations in the RH. Eighth notes (quavers) should be played straight.
Jitterbug Boogie This lively Grade 3 boogie was inspired by the swing dancers of the early 20th C. LH provides a driving walking bass while the RH plays syncopated rhythms and piano "stabs".
