By Brian Lewis
Choir Sacred (SSA choir; SSAA choir)

SKU: AP.28767

Composed by Brian Lewis. Performance Music Ensemble; Single Titles. Alfred Choral Designs. Sacred. Choral Octavo. 8 pages. Alfred Music #00-28767. Published by Alfred Music (AP.28767).

UPC: 038081313122. Lat.

A haunting melodic motive is underscored by a gently lilting piano accompaniment in this highly expressive and sophisticated work. The hushed opening builds to a dramatic forte Hosanna in the middle of the piece, and then gradually fades as the opening statement returns. A top seller, newly arranged for SSAA and 2-part choirs.

A wonderful find!
It just happened that all our men were away and having found this piece for 4 part ladies only was great. It is easy to learn and creates a lovely ambience, and works well with organ too. A lovely melody and another good piece to add to our repertoire.
