Cesar Franck wrote music beautifully, and his Ave Maria is one of my favorite Ave Maria's ever. Originally a choral piece with soprano solo, it translates well to a flute choir piece.
In this arrangement, the 1st Alto Flute has the soaring melody throughout and can be done as a solo from measure 19 until the end.
This arrangement is for low flute choir: 3 altos, 2 basses, and 1 contra bass. There is an optional C flute part for the 1st part.
