This arrangement is for string trio and has more complexity and richer harmonies than many other arrangements available. The first violin has the famous melodic line, with the middle voice (either Viola or Violin 2) providing movement through triplets or syncopated patterns. The cello maintains a steady and gentle bass line.
This string trio arrangement includes the second part in both treble clef (when played by a violinist) and in alto clef (for a violist), giving you the flexibility of performing it either with two violins and a cello, or with a violin, viola and cello.
