Richard Simm adds to his successful series of two piano works this wonderful arrangement of a beloved Baroque masterpiece. The piano parts are equal in difficulty and use of the familiar theme, and both lay easily under the hands. The ensemble between instruments is also easily achieved. Sure to be a favorite of students and two piano teams! A Federation Festivals 2024-2028 selection.

Duet 2 pianos Arrival of the Queen of Sheba in B flat Major.
Nice intermediate arrangement if you know your Bb and Eb flat scale, not from traditional scale fingers. Very fun to practice. Both parts are equally distributed with the technical method. Rhythm is fun with the syncopation. I only wish that it comes with a single piano score for one player, instead of having Secondo and Primo on the same page.

Arrival of the Queen of Sheeba
My partner and I performed this piece on two pianos. It was a real crowd-pleaser, even at a moderately fast tempo. We had no difficulty staying together. Audience members commented on how effectively the parts went from one piano to the other. The terrace dynamics were also very audible, although, like most Baroque scores, dynamic interest is up to the discretion of the performers.
