This beautiful aria 'Che farò senza Euridice' is one of Gluck's most famous works. The opera ,Orpheo ed Euridice, from which it is taken was first performed in Vienna in 1792. Orpheo sings of his eternal grief and sorrow having lost his love, Euridice.
This arrangement is suitable for schools or groups looking for parts with mixed ability levels. Guitars 1 and 2 are more challenging, requiring some playing in higher positions. Guitar 3 is suitable for guitarists playing in ensemble for the first time and Guitar 4 offers no real technical challenges.
