La Llorona

La Llorona translates as 'The Weeping Woman'. The dark legend tells of a vengeful ghost of a woman who has drowned her children upon discovering the infidelity of her husband. The melody is iconic in Mexico, and is well-known worldwide due to its inclusion in popular films, including the Pixar film 'Coco'.
This version of La Llorona is suitable for beginner/early intermediate players. The melody is shared amongst all of the quartet so it carries equal musical interest across all parts.
