Anthology of Art Songs by Black American Composers
I like this anthology a great deal. It brings together art songs by well-known Afro-American composers as well as less known ones and encompasses a wide variety of styles. The level of difficulty is also quite diverse, so theres really something for performers at different stages of development. Highly recommended.

Sensational Collection Representing the Greats!
I love this anthology, because it has marvelous texts, primarily by African American poets, and the repertoire represents some of the most important Art Songs of our time. Everyone should have this collection in their libraries and in their voices.
